High quality service and maintenance of gas heating equipment not only helps extend the life of the appliance, they also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. SPI Ltd has been undertaking servicing and maintenance of gas appliances for over 25 years, and currently service over 60,000 domestic boilers and 400 commercial boilers annually and attends to 50,000 reactive emergency calls.

From issuing of Landlord Certificates (CP12) through to helping tenants maximise the energy efficiency of their appliances, SPI's Gas Safe registered engineers provide the quality of service clients can depend upon.

KLOEs and KPIs

SPI's ability to exceed client KPIs and KLOEs (key lines of enquiries) are a major benefit to many customers.

This was recognised in the Audit Commission Report of Trent and Dove Housing in August 2005, which stated: "During the period, 99.58% of properties had gas appliances serviced with current gas safety certificates" and "98.5% of tenants were satisfied with the overall service, including contact and access facilitation".

Health and Safety

Gas safety is an important, customer-driven area. Our clients need confidence in our engineers to carry out gas safety and repair work. In addition to installation and maintenance, we work with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and have successfully completed contracts for gas safety and inspections on behalf of Birmingham City Council, Coventry City Council, South Warwickshire Housing Association and Walsall MBC.
